Legends of Lorata Book I: The Champion of the goddess
In ages past, the demon god Métius sealed the elemental goddess in an abyssal crystal in an attempt to steal her magic and claim dominion over Lorata. An unlikely elvan spearman shattered the crystal and forced Métius back into the abyss, and was honored for his feat by being crowned as first king of Onsira. Due to his bravery, Jenh promised that if Métius ever again threatened Lorata, she would ensure that Loracaz would be reborn to vanquish him.
Thousands of years later, the ruling family of Onsira can trace their bloodline back to that original hero. The king has declared himself emperor, and is working to expand his borders and push an agenda never before known to the kingdom. The empress has named their first-born son Loracaz, after the original hero, not realizing that Jenh’s prophecy isn’t just a quaint story of hope and legend. As the emperor’s tyranny worsens, however, the Onsiran royal family, as well as their citizens and allies, must embrace the idea that their newly-crowned prince is their best and only hope to safeguarding Onsira, Jenh, and all the rest of Lorata.

I currently don’t have a print version of my books available, mainly due to revision and editing, but the above is one of the covers I’d pulled together. You can read Book I: The Champion of the Goddess right here on LegendsofLorata.com, starting with the prologue.
Book II: Traipsing Light and Shadow is complete and lightly revised, and Book III: The Misty Shores of Cioria is complete and pending revision. I have also started working on Book IV: The Distant Isles of the Dark Seas. There will more than likely be a fifth book, which will take the fantasy to cosmic levels.
For now, enjoy book one of my fantasy, or you can start my science-fiction story. Happy reading!
