Hello happy readers!

I have had the delightful pleasure of being introduced to Art Fight, a site of fun art challenges (so to speak). On Art Fight, you join one of two teams, and you help your team by doing drawings of characters from the other team. Your drawings are worth different amounts of points based on detail, effort, etc. Their FAQs are really detailed, so I don’t want to say too much here.

Basically, if you want to let other people draw your character, you can join Art Fight and see what happens. The event is going on right now, and I’m participating this year as SirLoracaz. I’ve already drawn a few characters from the opposing team, and a couple people have drawn Sir Loracaz III in return. Link to my profile to check out the talent out there! It’s really light-hearted and casual, and I’ve enjoyed it.

I’m only doing one drawing a day for Art Fight, that way I still have time for working on “The House of the Seventh Minuet” and Legends of Lorata Book IV: The Distant Isles of the Dark Seas. Do you know of any writing or art events happening online in August or afterwards? I know NaNoWriMo is in November, but if I do participate, it probably won’t be for the 50K goal, and it will be to add to a work that’s already in progress.
