November at last! As if to comfort me for the fact that October (at with it, Halloween) is now over, it’s National Novel Writing Month. I started participating in this writing challenge in 2013, and I only wish that I had heard about it sooner. You will probably see a lull in my work on “A Modern Legend,” and I will be back on that in December.
This year’s NaNo is going to the third part of my science fiction story, No Distance Greater than the Stars. Part II was called Nebulous Heart, and part III is A Star Called Home. I had posted some of Part I back in 2013, and since I do not want to give away the ending of the story, I will be re-linking here.
No Distance Greater then the Stars
(yes, it’s a long title, but there is an explanation for it in part III)
Chapter 1, part 1
Chapter 1, part 2
Chapter 1, part 3
Chapter 2, part 1
Chapter 2, part 2
Chapter 2, part 3
Chapter 3, part 1
Chapter 3, part 2
Now back to part III I go. I might share some sketches at some point this month we’ll see. Happy reading to you all!

About Legends of Lorata
Eleanor Willow is the author of the high fantasy series Legends of Lorata, which takes place on a medieval-style world filled with elves, dragons, and faeries. There is also a fourth race, one that is rare and magical: the angelic Starr. Lorata is a distant planet watched over by four deities: good, evil, elemental, and celestial-- and there are plenty of legends about them all! One of the most important ones is the prophecy of Jenh's champion, Loracaz, who is promised to return to the realm whenever evil threatens to take hold. There are currently three books completed, and the first one can be read online. Book four is currently being written, and a fifth will most likely be in the future.
