Part of the writing process for “A Modern Legend.”
One thing that I have started doing while writing this story is using voice command to input text. Since I still have to work and continue writing my Legends of Lorata books, I have found a way to enter text in the small measures of time that I am able to take, time that would have been otherwise wasted on mundane things.
The WordPress is actually quite useful, and it is compatible with voice recognition. The funniest thing about voice input is that you have to say ‘comma’ or ‘period’ when you need them. It recognizes end-of-sentence punctuation and ‘comma,’ but so far those are the only punctuation marks it will make for you. On top of that, voice recognition is not at all perfect. I have to speak a little bit like a robot to use it, and even then it does not recognize all of my words– especially character names!
I use voice input with my phone on the WordPress application, save it, and copy the text over to my LibreOffice document when I get home. Then I spend a little time editing the text before copying it back to WordPress to publish. This seems to have the biggest impact on my spacing, but from now on I can fix the formatting first. Happy reading!
