“Cerys, sometimes you are just hopeless!” Himeko said.
Hopeless. That was a word that always got Peter’s attention. He looked over at his sister. “What did you do this time?” He asked her.
“It’s those long haired boys,” Himeko told him. “They always idle her brain.”
“Oh,” Peter said. “I guess that’s not exactly news to any of us. Where is he?”
“Over at the bar,” Bayani replied before Himeko could say anything. He was staring at him, too.
Peter rolled his eyes. “Just you wait until my hair gets that long,” he told his boyfriend. “Then you’ll be staring at me!”
Bayani grinned and winked at him. Then he looked back over at the bar.
“Great,” Himeko groaned. “That may very well be our guide, and all of you are going to be drooling over him for the rest of the strip!”
“I won’t.”
She gave Peter a look of relief. Well, at least half-relief. She knew that if the man’s hair has been a much darker color, he would be swooning along with the rest of them.
“You really think he is our guide?” he asked.
“He fits the description,” she told him.
“That he does,” he replied. “Should we approach him?”
“I’m not sure,” she said. “What did James say to do?”
“He only said to meet him. He didn’t say to wait for him to come over.”
“Should I go over there?” Himeko asked.
“Go right ahead,” Peter told her. “I am going to say here and make sure that Bayani behaves himself.”
“Are you sure that it would be any like?” Cerys asked her friend, and then went into nearly a full minute of uncontrolled giggling.
Himeko side. “Do we need to go outside?”
It was the same thing that Cerys’s mother often it after. If she got to silly, they would go outside, get some fresh air, and settle down. Most of the time, Cerys did not like that idea, and got a hold of herself without having to move away from any of the fun. She shook her head, took a breath, and stopped giggling, although her smiles stuck around.
