WordPress taught me something new today in the prompt, “The Ray Bradbury Noun List Twist.” It turns out that you can tweet @YouAreCarrying Inventory, and it will reply right away with a list of nouns that you can use to inspire writing, or maybe even use to drive a table-top gaming session. Here is what I got:
@LegendsofLorata a powder horn, even more gravel, an envelope, an end table, a cake, a squashed can, a white lab coat, a sign-up sheet.
Wow! Half that list read like a Minecraft gaming session. Am I destined to write a Minecraft fanfic? I will have to think about this. Stay tuned and check back in a few days to see what I come up with!
